Parks and Gardens
London is a green city, and one that really comes to life in springtime. Even in its heart you will find sizeable parks, gardens and open spaces.
The most famous parks and gardens are managed by the Royal Parks Agency. There are eight in total, encompassing some 5000 acres of conserved historic parkland. Several of them date back to Tudor times when they were royal hunting forests.
